BERD’s M60-I, signed up by CAET XXI for the construction of the bridge east viaduct over the Corgo River, is currently positioned at 109 meters high and it is experiencing an average cycle time of 10 calendar days, for the execution of each span. An outstanding landmark achieved by the use of an underslung movable scaffolding system, which is equipped with the innovative organic prestressing system (OPS) and allows the longitudinal movement (launch to the next span) in just 90 minutes. The bridge over the Corgo River is located in Vila Real – Portugal and includes 22 spans up to 60 meters which will be built with BERD’s M60-I. The last stage of the concreting is scheduled for the end of May.
