The United States Patent and Trademark Office granted the Patent “Construction Process of Structures with Empty Segments and Construction System of Structures with Empty Segments”, confirming BERD’s exclusivity to apply this invention.
The “Empty Segments” process, developed by BERD for industrialization of processes, consists in segments composed by all reinforcement steel, all ducts and part of the formwork previously assembled.
This innovative process allows a more industrialized, safer and faster in place construction of bridges an viaducts.
